Nick Pugh is a busy freelance bassist who is based near London but works throughout the UK and Europe. He plays double bass, fretted and fretless bass guitar and offers both sound sight-reading and strong improvisational skills.  All forms of jazz, swing and contemporary double bass playing are specialities but Nick is equally at home with bass guitar work in addition to playing for shows, studio sessions, cabaret, original projects and functions.

Nick also runs a busy media and production business, trading as Balanced Bass Media.  This centres on live and location audio Recording, intricate multi-track editing, audio mastering and post production and the production of Video Showreels and Promotional DVDs.  This work ties in with the partnership Silver IT Solutions, who offer managed IT services and website development.
